Mrs. Icie Summers, age 59, a resident of the Tangier community most of her life, passed away at 5 o'clock Sunday evening at her home there. She was a native of Fountain County. Surviving are the husband, Byron Summers; the mother, Mrs. Charles Huffman of Cates; 3 daughters, Mrs. Leora Vestel of Mecca; Mrs. Mildred DeBond of Waynetown and Mrs. Catharine Jackman of Markelville; three sons, Leroy Summers of Cates, Leon Summers of Cedar Lake and Charles Summers of Tangier; four sisters, Mrs. Ora Brown of Bloomingdale; Mrs. Bessie Witsman of Kingman; Mrs. Hazel Kinner, also of Kingman and Mrs. Ethel Tarter of Rockville and a brother, Carl Huffman of Falls Church, Virginia. Funeral services were held at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Fairview Church in Tangier with burial in Wolf Creek Cemetery, Rev. Leslie Smith officiated
